AME009  |  Micro-Particles of Polyunsaturated Oils

Health benefits of oils containing polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are well-known. It has been proven to have a positive impact on marine life, especially in the development of shrimp growth from its larval stage. However, these PUFA oils are unstable and difficult to be incorporated into products without having its nutritious properties lost during processing or storage. Hence the proposed technology offers a simple and scalable encapsulation technology for PUFA oil ensuring its stability and retaining its nutritious properties. Applications of these PUFA oils include food and feed products that require long shelf-life or water disperse-ability characteristic.

Preparation of Conductive Ionomer Nanoparticle Dispersion

The technology describes a dispersion method of ion conductive ionomer nanoparticles. This includes (1) applications with various ion conductive functional groups, (2) manufacturing methods and (3) applications of ionomer nanoparticle dispersion method. The ionomer nanoparticle can be manufactured by nano-dispersing in various forms of perfluorin and hydrocarbon ionomer as well as mixed solvents such as a combination of water and alcohol.
