AME006  |  Nanoimprinting and Nanoinjection Molding

Nanoimprinting and nanoinjection molding are techniques to fabricate nanometre-scale patterns, through a process similar to embossing. These techniques can be applied to various materials like polymers, glass and even metals, in both 2D film and 3D free form products. The presence of surface nanostructures imparts unique surface functionalities onto otherwise ordinary surfaces, enabling applications in various fields, e.g. optics, electronics, biomedical, consumer and many others.
