Abstract/Technology Overview

Indonesia Food and Beverage small business like fried rice, warteg, tukang nasi goreng, tukang nasi padang and so on is carrying a big burden in their business chain. In order to get a higher profit margin, these businesses have to run almost 24 hours. Thus, long business hours are a burden to these businesses.

Businesses run almost 24 hours, as they start from 2 or 3 am in the morning to purchase raw material which may take 2 hours to complete. Follow by preparing those stuff and open the stalls from 7 to 9 am and operate until 9 or 10 pm with an hour for closing. Hence, a significant amount of time was used in preparation for limited profit margins. Moreover, the limited amount of profit margin happens because of the high cost of the raw material of their needs (40%-70% of the product price is for raw material cost) and high sourcing cost that they have to curate the sources in order to find the best price. As a result of limited margins, high sourcing cost and time-consuming task, these businesses only have limited resources to afford their daily needs.

Technology Features, Specifications and Advantages

Basically we use a pre-order scheduled platform to accommodate our customer business needs. The users can put their daily raw material need per week and we will deliver based on their schedule. They can add their needs in the middle of the week.

For the logistics, we can create a clustering for our courier to help them find the best way to deliver the products.

Potential Applications

The market is huge, according to Indonesian statistics, 250K small food businesses in and around Jakarta, with IDR 100,000 - IDR 300,000 of basket size per day. The total amount of transaction in Jakarta is around IDR 50,000,000 per day.

Our target is acquiring 20K users in the next 4 years.
