Abstract/Technology Overview

The technology owner designs, develops and operates systems and solutions to grow ultra-fresh, ultra-local produce in urban cities. The team has the experience in deploying different agricultural growing systems in indoor, open field and rooftop environments. The developed system democratise urban farming and food access via IoT, automation and data analytics.

Current farm owners in Singapore are facing high operating cost  and striving to improve crop’s yield. Currently, in day-to-day operation of monitoring of the farm’s environmental data (e.g. soil moisture, environment temperature, etc.) is done manually which is time consuming & labour intensive. The proposed solution will be able to address these problems which require lesser reliance on workers, improve productivity leading to lower operational cost and at the same time, improving crops’ yield.
