The technology developed by this start-up uses a combination of a specific proprietary strain to produce an extremely nutritious and widely applicable new food ingredient. This method is :

Thanks to this controlled oxygenized brewing process, and the use of carbohydrates from low-cost and highly available water-efficient and non-allergenic staple crops, this technology made it possible to produce protein more cost effectively compared to other methods and able to scale with our partners with ease.
Due to the 100% controllable process delivering high yield, requiring a limited amount of space, using only locally available carbohydrates the process can be implemented everywhere in the world resulting in an affordable food ingredient. This allows for a non-animal-based and a highly nutritious diet for all around the globe.

Due to high protein content containing the same essential amino acid profile as meat, it provides great nutritional protein value. The food ingredient also comprises dietary fibers, unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. It is an unprocessed, naturally brewed macro food ingredient that can be applied to address the shift from animal-based diets to non-animal-based diets, and to enhance the nutritional value of common carbohydrate-rich products.

It has a positive impact on the overall end product cost thanks to a highly efficient production process and to its excellent water-binding properties, which requires much less auxiliary substance to obtain the desired structure.
Because of the neutral taste product developers don’t need to invest time in correcting or adapting the taste of their end products with flavour maskers.
Because it does not require any flavour masking, the recipe of the end product becomes less complex. Generally, 25% percent of the costs in meat substitutes are reserved for flavours maskers. Creating a tasteful product is now more straightforward and easy.
Because it’s a stable product, it is not sensitive to climate change and is predictable in composition and behaviour. The chance of errors and taste deviations can be reduced to a minimum.
The allergen-free nature, its neutral taste and mixable structure, limits the restrictions for use. It can be integrated into many types of products.
A meticulously tuned process under fully controlled conditions, makes it a very safe ingredient, free from mycotoxins, antibiotics, listeria, salmonella and E.coli.
